The four-port synchronous serial interface module can connect four synchronous serial devices via a 4SA conversion cable and a synchronous serial cable. At present, there are four types of synchronous serial cables for NE16E/08E/05 routers. They are V.24 (EIA/TIA 232) DTE connecting cable, V.24 (EIA/TIA 232) DCE connecting cable, V.35 DTE connecting cable, and V .35 DCE connection cable, before connecting the cable, confirm that the selected synchronous serial cable matches the device to be connected. The
Step 1: Insert the DB100 plug of the 4SA conversion cable into the DB100 socket of the four-port synchronous serial module, and tighten the cable fixing knob. The
Step 2: Hold the locking button of the DB50 plug of the synchronous serial cable to be installed by hand, insert the cable into the DB50 socket of the 4SA conversion cable, and then release the locking button to make the connection secure. Step 3: Connect the synchronous serial cable to the device to be connected. Step 4: Repeat the previous steps until all devices are connected.
