The network cabinet and the server cabinet are all 19 inch standard cabinet, which is the common point between the network cabinet and the server cabinet.
The difference between the network cabinet and the server cabinet is that:
Server cabinet is used to install server, display, UPS and other 19'standard equipment and non 19' standard equipment, in the depth, height, load bearing and other aspects of the cabinet, the width is generally 600MM, the depth is generally above 900MM, because of the large heat dissipation of the internal equipment, the front and rear doors are all with ventilation holes;
Network cabinet is mainly the storage of routers, switches, wiring rack and other network equipment and accessories, the depth is generally less than 800MM, the width of 600 and 800MM are all, the front door is generally transparent steel glass door, the heat dissipation and environmental requirements are not high.

Most of the network cabinets used in the early days are made of castings or angle steel through screws, rivets connected or welded into the frame of the cabinet, and then with a cover plate (door) made of thin steel plates. The cabinet is large, bulky and rough, and has been eliminated. With the use of transistors and integrated circuits and the miniaturization of various components and devices, the cabinet structure is also developing towards miniaturization and building blocks. The network cabinet has developed from the whole panel structure to a series of plug-in and plug-in structure with a certain size. The arrangement of inserting boxes and plug-ins is divided into two categories: horizontal arrangement and vertical arrangement. The material of network cabinet is generally made of thin steel plate, various section shape steel profiles, aluminum profiles and various engineering plastics. The frame of the network cabinet is not only welded and screws connected, but also adopts the bonding process.
